Weight Room 101
Feeling a little intimidated about hitting the weights and using the equipment? We’re here for you with the return of Weight Room 101!
Join in at 10 AM every first Saturday of the month for a small-group session with a personal trainer who will teach you how to use the equipment and boost your confidence in the gym.

For Helena, her passion and expertise are what make the difference! She strives to make every single workout not only relevant and effective but fun as well. As a mother of three young men, Helena understands the importance of prioritizing and maximizing one’s efforts. As such, it is her personal goal to set every client up with a result-driven program to help them celebrate every milestone along the way. Outside of coaching, Katie enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood and frequenting Dutch Bros.

She is dedicated to creating personalized programs that cater to each individuals unique needs and preferences through group and private sessions. Her positive and encouraging approach empowers clients to push themselves to new heights and achieve their desired results. Out of the pilates room Rebekkah is a devoted wife, mother and owns 2 Doberman dogs. She also enjoys horseback riding, paddle boarding and singing!

His proficiency is further augmented by comprehensive training in martial arts, including Taekwondo and Muay Thai. Samantha took her first instructor training course (indoor cycling) in 2014. She wanted to maximize her own performance in that modality and took the course to learn the science behind the workouts. Since then, she has gone on to learn additional formats. She can be found regularly teaching group fitness classes here at Bethany Athletic Club. Check out the schedule here.
Outside of the gym, Samantha has worked in both research and academia. She enjoys the pursuit of learning and teaching others. She loves that she gets to do both of those things as part of her work in the fitness industry. Her favorite thing though is interacting with and getting to know the members. In this way, she can take a personalized approach to helping them attain their own fitness goals.
